Content Assistant Producer

Location: London (hybrid)

Time commitment: 2–4 days per month in person (London) plus remote support

Availability: One weekday per week or fortnight (flexible)

Start date: February 2026

About the role

We’re looking for a content assistant producer to support filming, editing, and day-to-day content creation across my social platforms. This role is ideal for someone confident with short-form social content, comfortable working hands-on with filming and editing, and who understands how content performs across different platforms.

You’ll be working closely with me on in-person content days in London, with additional remote support for editing and cross-posting.

Key responsibilities

  • Generating video ideas and producing short-form content for social platforms

  • Filming short-form content (primarily iPhone-based)

  • Editing content using CapCut and/or Final Cut Pro 

  • Creating assets using Canva (e.g. carousels)

  • Supporting social media content informed by current trends, sounds, and editing styles

  • Cross-posting content across platforms, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook

  • Assisting with in-person content days in London

  • Occasionally, travelling with me to speaking or running events (travel costs covered)

Requirements

  • Experience filming and editing content using an iPhone

  • Confident using CapCut and/or Final Cut Pro

  • Experience using Canva

  • Good understanding of social media (personal or brand-based), including trends, audio, and formats

  • Reliable availability for one weekday per week or fortnight

  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently while taking direction

  • Experience creating food-related content (nice to have)

  • Experience creating running, training, or fitness content (nice to have)

Rate

  • Day rate for in-person filming days: £300–£400 (depending on experience and scope)

  • Hourly rates can be discussed for smaller, remote-only tasks
